Another Centiq customer event - this time I was talking about several internal and customer projects where we’d used Infrastructure as Code principles and practices to drastically improve productivity (changes and stability) for teams. I also introduced our new SAP on Azure Platform Engineering capabilities.

I represented Microsoft Azure at this SAP customer and partner event, describing some of the many capabilities my Engineering Team at Centiq built in collaboration with Thames Water’s Cloud Team.

Presentation delivered as part of my Centiq interview that described my background, experience, and several examples of where I’d used my experience of DevOps thinking to add business value in previous organizations.

I gave this All Hands talk to the Tech organization at Capital One (~150 attendees) on Making Work Visible - one of several agile principles we established as part of the Agile Community of Practice.

My team’s first major demo on our automation of the entire mobile build/delivery pipeline for the Capital One UK iOS Mobile App. This was presented the CEO, CTO and other senior stakeholders in the business, and was accomanied by a live demo of pushing a change through the entire process onto a real smartphone in just a few minutes - running through automated QA and security testing, and deployed to a test instance of the App Store using Hockey App (now rebranded App Center).

Presenting some of my recent work on “Agile ways of working in service delivery” (essentially I was talking about DevOps). In this talk I described some of the software engineering practices I’d been using to improve the life of our Operations teams.

Presenting the progress my team had been making from long-time CI practitioners towards many of the practices required to achieve continuous delivery - keeping our codebase shippable.
